(ICF) Certified Specialists
Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) are a cost effective, resilient and environmentally friendly construction system. ICF concrete walls are extremely energy efficient keeping your home warmer during the winter and cooler during the summer. These wall systems accomplish forming, form stripping, framing and insulating all in one step. The walls do not warp, twist or shrink which minimizes drywall screw pops and cracks.
Our 12 1/2" ICF wall consists of 6 1/2" of foam and 6" of steel reinforced concrete, these walls transmit very little sound. With an R value rating of R30, the performance of these walls is even higher. On average ICF basements cost about the same as conventional basements (poured concrete walls with wood or steel stud framed walls). ICF homes outfitted to the roof, on average, cost 5-6% more than homes with wood framed walls. This cost is recovered in just a few years, with savings in heating and air conditioning use.
